NYC Healthy Bites is a brand new mobile eatery that has been traveling around New York City for more than 6 months. The owners (pictured above) started the new venture because they simply got hungry and found the need for more healthy food carts in the city. Their mission: To meet the desire for more high quality, organic food in the streets of New York that is convenient and fairly priced.
Besides being good for the planet, what does organic mean?
- No chemicals
- No insecticides
- No synthetic weed killers
- No artificial fertilizers
- No antibiotics or growth hormones in the raising of meat
At the Tasty Tweet Up guests sipped on Vita Coco and snacked on Pop Chips before we were treated to NYC Healthy Bites signature hot dogs/sausages, which included:
“The Diablo” – tomatoes, diced onions, and spicy cilantro sauce (shredded cheese optional)
-This was our favorite, the taste was impeccable and enjoyable to eat. We had 3 (lol)
“The Greek Dog” – tomatoes, diced onions, cucumbers, olives, with feta cheese and yogurt garlic sauce
“The German Dog” – sauerkraut, diced onions, paprika, with spicy brown mustard
Besides the taste, we enjoyed the variety. There is without a doubt, something for everyone. We highly recommend you experience this mobile delight for yourself. The NYC Healthy Bites cart can be seen around New York City daily from 11am -7pm seven days a week.
