Ray-Ban took over New York City last night as they threw a party to celebrate the new materials collection. Their latest eyewear collection features five materials-leather, denim, steel, titanium, and velvet.
Guests,
Throughout the venue, attendees got a chance to get up close and personal with the new materials and take advantage of some of the fun stations, such as Mark Evans’ etched leather canvas, Anne Lilly’s kinetic steel sculptures, and Ian Berry/Denimu’s denim masterpieces, including Ian’s specially commissioned portrait of Blondie’s Debbie Harry to pay homage to the rocker. One of our favorites hotspots included the Ray-Ban Remix Lounge guests could customize their own unique pair of Ray-Ban sunnies. The website platform itself was easy to navigate and provided tons of retails about every single material.
As if that weren’t enough, Blondie took to the stage and performed a full set of their classic hits! Check out more of our personal footage on YouTube.
When asked about the collaboration with iconic company, Blondie says “We’ve had a lengthy love affair with Ray-Ban and have been wearing them for a long time. We love experimenting and pushing the boundaries, not only in our music but with out look, so we’re excited to be working with Ray-Ban in celebration of their latest reinvention – their new materials collection.”
