Not even a blizzard could stall the white-hot Porsche Design fall/winter 2013 collection show. I strapped up my snow boots and trekked to Center 548 in Chelsea to take in a brand that is known to deliver luxe travel gear. Porsche Design fall/winter 2013 did not disappoint.
The balance between work and leisure are being reevaluated, merging the lines of fun and business. Thankfully a shift in our corporate landscape has allowed modern men and women to kick bland business wear to the curve. Honestly, who has time for a wardrobe that doesn’t function in both worlds?
Inspired by rigorist architecture and volume, Porsche Design’s dominant color for the season is black with pops of warmer hues such as wine and red as well as colder hues like majolica blue. My eyes were drawn to the collection’s unique metal colored hardware, reminiscent of a sleek ultra-platinum finish.
