The
JSD was delighted to be invited to the holiday preview event at the metropolitan pavilion where we could try it first hand. Guests at the event were treated to passing edibles and an open bar filled with beverages from wine to grape juice. Guests also took home personalized journals and pens courtesy of Gallagher Designs (which you can view on our LIVE BLOG)who set up a makeshift shop at the event to showcase their works. While waiting for our customized journals we took the grand tour of the setup and played a few yet to be released titles
1. SingStar Dance: A cool singing game that adds dance to the mix for an all out superstar experience.
2. Move Ape Escape: Capture adorable monkeys in this active highly addictive adventure game.
3. Marvel Vs. Capcom: A great fighter game with awesome graphics and team fighting mode.
4. Journey: An epic adventure of discovery that takes players to mysterious locations whilst discovering a lost civilization.
5. PixelJunk Shooter: A flying adventure game of soaring through caverns and saving lives while being chased by mysterious creatures.
I have been team Wii for about 3 years, but I must admit the Move is tempting. It features built in rechargeable batteries and the PS3 console alone has blur ray capabilities and operates in up to 1080p resolution (for you layman’s that means really high definition) the Wii runs it a max of 480p which is pretty basic. All in all the move is a cool new tool for gamers and fun way to stay in motion.
