Fashion Designers William Anzevino and August Getty teamed up in Los Angeles in 2013 to create the menswear brand Anzvino Getty. Both designers found success with their own eponymous lines. August Getty had runway presentations during NYFWM 2015. The Anzevino line is acclaimed for museum-worthy pieces inspired by Susan Sontag and Bob Mizer.
The Anzevino Getty debut at was an eye-opener to those unfamiliar with the relatively new Los Angeles based design duo.
Together the designers have struck a balance between modern art and the classic profile from a so L.A. point of view.
The clothes are expertly tailored but also such fun. The Anzevino Getty amalgamation of the arty, classic and sporty include the graffiti spattered black and white prints which adorn accessories, short pants, and activewear looks. Also, a highlight is a 3-D print long pant suit that can go from the office to an art opening. Essential looks include a short-pant suit in a bold blue tweed and a navy and white geometric print short and shirt ensemble that is yacht ready.
Looking forward to seeing what the dynamic duo of Anzevino Getty has in store for future collections.
