The collection Silvio Liu, the brainchild of the design and production duo Brian Wood and Danny Liu, made its debut this New York Fashion Week. The form-fitting designs are cut to flatter and appeal to the woman of confidence and femininity. Sophisticated, yet playful, the collection showcased retro silhouettes throughout the 19 different looks.
While the grecian draping adds in a softer feminine touch, the structure and tailoring of the pencil skirts and jackets reflect Wood’s menswear background. Construction and form makes their core aesthetic, inspired by the couture and tailoring customs.
