Rebecca Minkoff Presentation for her Fall 2010 was definitely something that all women and retailers should be looking at for next Fall’s wardrobe. The collection has 15 looks this season and with each pieces comes sophistication. Some of my favorite looks from the collection included Look #2, which consisted of a burgundy dress and black studded bag. Another favorite was look #4 which had this amazing skirt definitely inspired by the French school girl and the khaki suede shoes, paired with a silver bag. Other noticeable piece were the graphic tees which payed tribute to Minkoff‘s Parisian passion. When asked about the inspiration she said “The women who definitely is independent and who is inspired by architecture, she definitely is a city girl and she loves to travel.” Other inspiration comes from 1960s icons such as Brigitte Bardot and her counterpart Serge Gainsbourg, while incorporating of the moment shapes and modern textiles. Some of the key colors in the collection were red, purple, and black. The models all had soft and natural makeup, with rich red lipstick done by Stila. The handbags were classic Minkoff; heavy zippers, metallic leathers, studs, and many shapes and sizes. Plenty of guests came out to show their support; Erin Lucas, Agyness Deyn, Buyers from Neiman Marcus, Barney’s, Bergdof Goodman, and Saks were all in attendance. This is a collection every woman should invest in for the Fall season.
