Cushman’s menu includes items that pair nicely with the cocktail options and appropriate enough for rooftop fun. Our favorites were the Wagyu Cheeseburger (with American cheese, dashi pickle, special sauce) and Grilled Shrimp Taco (with tequila-spiked pico de gallo and avocado). Both were flavorful and packed a lot of flavors. Sometimes these items can taste bland, dry, and unseasoned as they’re often rushed out on a busy day but not at Roof. A few other items include Tortilla Chips & Salsa, Karaage Fried Chicken Bites, Chickpea Falafel Fritters, Glazed Baby Back Ribs, and more.
The cocktail menu at Roof at Park South is extensive and plentiful, there is something for literally everyone. For a hot Summer day, we recommend sticking your straw into a tasty frozen drink, like the Boat Shoes, made with rosé, Plantation 3 star, basil, lemon, novo fogo cachaça, and strawberry or 36 Chambers, made with Singani 63, yuzu, lemongrass, lemon, and lavender. Other frozen drinks included the Match Point with Tito’s vodka, Don Q Cristal rum, mint tea, lemon, and matcha, as well as the Devil’s Detox with pueblo viejo tequila, Aperol, hibiscus, lime, and Cassis. The bar, of course, also has a full list of signature cocktails.
