Pras Michel, best known from the hit group The Fugees, is more than just a recording artist; he’s is also an amazing storyteller. His remarkable storytelling is profiled in “Sweet Mickey For President.” A documentary that tells the story of Pras, as he returns to Haiti after a devastating and deadly earthquake. We get to see Pras’ hard at work as he is determined to rebuild Haiti and its corrupt government by seeking the presidential nomination for the unlikeliest and controversial candidate, Michel Martelly or “Sweet Micky.” The road to victory is not easy for Pras and company as he hit many bumps in the road, included with former Fugees bandmate, Wyclef Jean. They share some intense moments in the film. We also get to see a few more familiar faces, like Sean Penn, Ben Stiller, and former president Bill Clinton as they help change the course of Haitiβs future, for the better.
