Former Mercedes-Benz designer, Vicki Vlachakis is the creative genius behind this fashion forward and eco-friendly handbag line called Nooni. Nooni specializes in the design and manufacture of a line of finely crafted handbags that blend unique, sculptural shapes and bold graphics with luxurious materials for an original aesthetic. The handbags are made with the finest vegetable tanned leathers from Italy, luxurious nu-bucks, and are detailed with uniquely designed, gold-plated hardware. “The name Nooni was a code name / pet name for my first handbag collection while I was still working full time as an advanced design manager for General Motors Design Studio in Hollywood, California. Nooni caught on since the name does not give you any preconceived ideas of what the product is or what it should look like. In other words, Nooni has originality, much like the collection” says Vicki, when asked about the name.
