Struggling
One of the best scenes in the movie is the performance scene. The men gather and treat their wives to a smooth rendition of New edition’s “Can You Stand The Rain” not only is this an amazing romantic gesture it is the precursor to the second act as the proverbial “rain” comes thundering down. Watching the men emulate a 90’s boy band is very swoon worthy and definitely one of those rare movie moments when you wish you knew people like this in your real life. Fans should also watch out for the fight girl fight caused by who else but the most desperate Housewife in Westchester, prepare to scream jump and clap as the “villain” gets what’s coming to her. The most powerful scene in the film occurs as Harper dives to save Lance from a nasty fall and pulls him into a powerful embrace. If this scene doesn’t bring you to tears you may need to check your pulse, you simply can’t be alive! This is the movie that will either help you appreciate the friends you have or run out and find some new ones! The Best Man Holiday opens Friday.
