Jewelry designer Miriam Salat opened her first luxury boutique in The Shops at Columbus Circle. The new concept store which is housed in a luxury merchandising boutique on the ground floor, radiates an eclectic vibe to make guests feel like they are shopping in a one-of-a kind, exclusive marketplace on a Mediterranean island. The shop is home to over one hundred different styles of Miriam Salat jewelry, the largest selection of any retail location. Complimenting the gypsy-feel of her accessories, two champagne colored capiz shell chandeliers hang from the ceiling and mismatched gold frames house beautiful imagery of icons adorning the jewelry such as Eva Longoria, Sandra Bullock, Elizabeth Moss, Oprah Winfrey, Chelsea Kane, Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez.
Miriam Salat is a self-proclaimed “gypset” (a gypsy and a jetsetter) who’s adventurous and free spirit has directly inspired her artistry. She is a bon-vivant who travels off the beaten path and is drawn to the richness of life and its many hues. Color is especially important to her, as it reflects so many aspects of her personality. Whether shopping in a Moroccan souk or exploring the ancient temples of Bhutan, she is always distinctive, always put together, and never loses her impeccable taste.
Salat dished to me that she would love to see one of her pieces on Angelina Jolie. When asked how does her line differs from the many jewelry companies out now she says, “It stands out in terms of the color and the look. It’s something that hasn’t been done before – it’s big and bold, and definitely will be noticed. My collection is feminine and has a timeless element”. We couldn’t agree more.
The Miriam Salat collection, which retails for $175 – $1895 includes bangles, earrings, necklaces, rings and cuffs that are comprised of precious stones and metals encased in her namesake resin, sterling silver, 18kt gold vermeil, ivory and cubic zirconia.
The Boutique currently displays the Spring and Summer 2011 Collections featuring shades of peach, pink and lilac, as well as turquoise, black and white. The boutique also carries exclusive pieces not sold elsewhere including stunning Black & Turquoise Deco Earrings, a Turquoise Scallop Cuff, Pink & Turquoise Faceted Stone Rings and the Ivory Scallop Necklace. The Miriam Salat Boutique will be open for business Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Congratulations Miriam on yet another beautiful collection!

Great goods from you, man. I’ve understand your stuff previous to and you’re just extremely
great. I actually like what you’ve acquired here, certainly like what you are stating and the way in which you say it. You make it entertaining and you still take care of to keep it sensible. I cant wait to read much more from you. This is really a great website.
Our old store looks great! An old co-worker of mine was there last Sunday and noticed a guy working there that used to come into our store and told us he loved our store – I’m so confused! Best of luck in our old space. Just please deal with Stephanie Fink and Time Warner Center sternly – we were amazed at her total unprofessionalism when she pushed us out to make room for you. Thank gosh we have our 20 year old main store ( and soon a second store FAR away from TWC and at a much better rent – good ol’ Karma) Hopefully someone will not come along and offer to pay $20,000 per month and push you out since this is your only store!
