The studio at Lincoln Center set the scene for the latest chapter in the Rebecca Moses library. Appearing as heroines come to life in an illustrated book, models posed and preened in the designers latest pieces. Pages from this fictional tome created a back drop for the props and models, as invited guests milled around taking in the sites. The soundtrack was provided by Javier Peral who spun a creative and eclectic mix of old and new. His sounds mirrored the collection revamped vintage feel.
The collection featured embellished necklines and statement necklaces. This gold necklace was the right accent for the terracotta silk shirt and slouchy pants combo.
This African beaded yoke adds some depth to the beautifully draped knit dress.
I loved the sparkly detail added to this ankle length back cowl dress. The dress at length is beautifully draped and falls at the ankle in ripples of black jersey.
Whatever your story, Moses has you covered as her collection goes from playful day looks to high evening drama. Every closet tells the story of the woman who fills it. What are your clothes saying about you?
