Last week, lifestyle maven Bevy Smith joined forces with a host of Style Network’s “How Do I Look,” Jeannie Mai and Author of Fit Home Team and The Beauty of Love, Laura Posada to host the First Taste: Simple Joy of Mornings event at an Upper East Side McDonald’s. Tastemakers including, actress Sidra Smith, BET personality Alesha Renee, and, BBC correspondent Sharon Carpenter were able to experience McDonald’s newest taste with samples of the new Fruit & Maple Oatmeal and the McCafe Caramel Mocha in a renovated and stylized restaurant. Smith, Mai, and Posada shared their secrets on achieving a wonderful morning through fashion presentations, beauty how-to’s and fitness/wellness tips all with an Oatmeal/Caramel Mocha twist!
I thoroughly enjoyed both treats and their affordable prices. I would highly recommend the apple chunks be chopped a little more as it did take away from the yummy oatmeal. The oatmeal is freshly prepared with cream, topped with diced fresh red and green apples, tangy fried cranberries (delicious), two types of sweet raisins and blended with brown sugar.
