Malibu Music Invasion Bash Heats Up with Cobra Starship, Jesse Metcalfe & Josh Henderson

Malibu Rum Invasion once again invaded Beekman Beer Garden Beach Club in New York City in the latest stop on the Malibu Rum 2012 concert series. As the sun went down over the east river attendees enjoyed Malibu Rum and Malibu Black specialty cocktails and jammed to three superstar DJ sets.

First up was Beats Battle Winner, Tommy Virtue an East Coast based DJ that has performed at legendary New York clubs like the Limelight and Exit. Followed by Semu ‘DJ Reach’ Namakajo one of New York City’s top DJs known for high-energy, eclectic DJ sets. He mixed hip hop and R&B, rock, reggae, and pop to keep the crowd moving.

Seen enjoying the tunes were the stars of the TNT Dallas reboot Josh Henderson and Jesse Metcalfe.

Headlining the event was Gabe Saporta the frontman for the electro-pop group Cobra Starship. Having recently released their fourth studio album, Night Shades, Gabe and his band mates have been praised for their ability to meld tongue-in-cheek lyrics with pop sensibilities.

Guests not only raved to the tunes of these highly skilled DJs they were also able to hone their own DJ skills with private lessons provided by the Scratch DJ Academy.
