Malibu Black got into the Halloween spirit with a downright frightening night on the Lower East Side.
Sons of Essex set an intimate mood for indulging in sinfully delicious cocktails curated with Malibu Black. Guests enjoyed Malibu Black Blood, Malibu Black Voodoo Punch, and Malibu Black Stormy Night. The devilishly fun cocktails were complimented by my favorite hors d’oeuvres – Truffle Mushroom Pizza and Fried Mac n’ Cheese Balls. To say that I was content is an understatement.
After consuming enough “liquid courage” that only a fraternity pledge class could appreciate, the excursion to one of the most-anticipated haunted houses in Manhattan was underway.
The Malibu team eagerly led guests a few blocks to Killers: A Nightmare Haunted House! The cocktails that started our night provided a comfort level to encounter the monsters that walk among us – psychopaths such as Ted Bundy, Albert Fish and the Zodiac Killer. After navigating the tormenting maze of real and fictional serial killers, I wanted to go back inside for round two! Everyone loves a little twisted dark fantasy every now and then.
To congratulate the brave souls that survived the ghoulish night, team Malibu led guests to Cocktail Bodega for a round of Malibu Red Birthday Cake Smoothie shots. That team knows how to party!
Get creative and add Malibu Black to your Halloween festivities this year. You’ll thank me later.
