Ghost goblins and other things that go in the night, gathered at Hudson Hotel’s “Good Unit’s” for a major Halloween bash. The costume party was hosted by Esquire’s sexiest woman alive, Katrina Bowden. The skater zombie and surfer chick themed party, featured a half-pipe with zombified boarders performing tricks and pretty surfer chicks dancing to sets by world Famous DJ Scribble who kept the crowd moving with bass pounding hits.

The party wasn’t just about Halloween mayhem it was the coming out event for Malibu Black the newest member of the Malibu family of products. The 70 proof amber-colored rum is light and not quite as sweet as the original version. Guests enjoyed a tasty signature cocktail called a “Malibu Blacklight”. The beverage is made of: 1 ½ parts Malibu Black, 3 parts pineapple juice, a splash of fresh lime juice, top with soda and serve over ice in a tall glass. The light refreshing drink was enjoyed fully by the costumed crowd. Wandering among the attendees were a few famous faces including: Model Tyson Beckford, and fashion designer Christian Siriano.
As if tasty cocktails, great music and the festive atmosphere weren’t enough party goers were treated to a rocking performance by hip hop icons Salt N Pepa.

The surprise performance featured a medley of their biggest hits to date. JSD has the exclusive video coverage:
