“Tradition in evolution” was the theme of the Pitti Uomo 84 cocktail party which took place on Wednesday. For the occasion, the historic Harry’s Bar in Florence hosted the event which featured an exhibition of 15 exclusive photos by L’Uomo Vogue of young Italian artists dressed from head to toe in clothes from Angelo Galasso’s new collection.
Guests were welcomed by Franca Sozzani, editor of L’Uomo Vogue, and Angelo Galasso, creative director of Angelo Galasso, and the special guest of the night British actor and Unicef ambassador Sir Roger Moore. The music entertainment was provided by piano iconoclast ELEW.
“Tradition in evolution” pays homage to Angelo Galasso’s innovative style philosophy (the designer has dressed Paul McCartney, Roger Moore, David Beckham, Puff Daddy, Michael Caine, Mickey Rourke, Alessandro Gassman, Al Pacino, Tony Blair, Simon and Yasmin Le Bon, Rod Stewart, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z) a unique way of thinking the designer shares with L’Uomo Vogue, Condé Nast’s most authoritative international men’s fashion magazine, devoted to leading trends and names in the world of art, design, entertainment and culture. Thanks to these two cosmopolitan brands, guests from all over the world attended the cocktail at Harry’s Bar.
