Lamborghini’s LP700-4 Aventador is unveiled as NUVO launches ‘Lemon Sorbet’ + Aubrey O’Day Interview

Celebrities and trendsetters descended onto Manhattan Motorcars rooftop to witness the unveiling of Lamborghini’s newest luxury supercar, the LP700-4 Aventador. On hand to toast Lamborghini was NUVO Sparkling Liqueur, whose founder Raphael Yakoby and Diageo chose the occasion to launch the groundbreaking, first-to-market sparkling vodka NUVO Lemon Sorbet.

New Jersey Nets Kris Humphries, rappers Wale and Jim Jones, singer Aubrey O’Day, model Melyssa Ford, and TV personalities AJ Callaway showed up on the red carpet and were among the tastemakers who attended the luxury unveiling and sipped the signature NUVO Lemon sorbet cocktail – the NUVO Yellow.

A fresh, crisp and chic celebration of luxurious living, NUVO’s Lemon Sorbet calls to mind the exotic sophistication of the Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador, and this pairing was apropos. Housed in a canary colored bottle, Lemon Sorbet exemplifies the hottest new way to toast the good life. The flavor concept was so well received that Nuvo Lemon Sorbet cupcakes were on hand for consumption, provided by Desi Lu Sweets, who offered Moscato Red Velvet cupcakes as well.

A decade in the making, the LP700-4 Aventador is Lamborghini’s next champion bull, and this, its’ newest flagship, does everything but disappoint. Re-inventing the idea of a “supercar,” the Aventador inspires opulent sensibility with its’ futuristic design, Formula-1 inspired suspension, modern cockpit, 700 horsepower and naturally aspirated V-12 engine.

Before we headed up to the unveiling we chatted with singer Aubrey O’Day about her reality show and music.
