Moët & Chandon founded the brand back in 1973 and was the first American sparkling wine venture established by a French Champagne house in Napa Valley. Chandon kicked off “American Summer” with the launch of their third limited-edition bottle. To commence this special occasion, the sparkling wine company has partnered with renowned New York designer Jonathan Adler to release two exclusive items available only for summer 2014.

When I spoke with Adler about his inspiration, he said it stemmed from, “Chandon’s flirty and summer vibe. I’m all for red, white, and blue. When I saw that bottle, my choppers started to tingle. Chandon makes me feel younger and fresher.” He also revealed that he loves his Chandon served straight up in the mini bottles. Which I also love!
Guests were greeted with those mini bottles as they entered the super sexy Glasshouses, located in the heart of Chelsea. The sun literally shined down on everyone in attendance as they danced the night away while enjoy light bites and all of the sparkling white and specialty cocktails. It was truly a night to remember.
The limited edition Jonathan Adler for Chandon tray will be available at jonathanadler.com and in select Jonathan Adler stores for $98 in an 11×17-inch tray and $78 in a 9×11-inch tray.
Chandon “American Summer” will be available on Memorial Day through Labor Day, for $8 in 187ml minis and $22-24 in 750ml bottles at Chandon.com and select retailers.
