DuJour is a lifestyle media company focusing on fashion, entertainment, art, travel, business and culture with unrivaled access to the most affluent and influential individuals. DuJour Media celebrated Kate Beckinsale’s Spring cover and her new Amazon television drama series, The Widow, on Thursday, February 28 at PHD Lounge in New York City. The party was presented by Whispering Angel’s Paul Chevalier. Guests danced the night away to classic hits while enjoying cocktails and delicious food. The ‘Underworld’ actress was joined by DuJour Founder Jason Binn and famed photographer Mark Seliger. As with any other DuJour celebration, it was a magical evening in New York City.
In the Spring issue, Beckinsale opens up about her career goals, the evolution of her beauty routine, and what it was like moving to Africa for The Widow. “It was the first job that I was offered where I said, ‘Well, I guess I can do this now, because my daughter just went to college, and I can’t say, No, I have to be home,’” she said in DuJour about accepting the role in the new Amazon series. “I’ve been saying when she leaves home I’ll have all this creative freedom, and then literally the moment she steps out the door, they called and said, ‘Do you want to go to Africa for six months?’ and I’m like, ‘No, I can’t, I’m still at home sniffing her socks and going, I’m not ready!’
