11th Annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares fundraiser hosted by Anna Chlumsky went off without a hitch last night at The 69th Regiment Armory in New York City. The charitable event brings awareness of the plight of people living with HIV/AIDS and members of the LGBTQ community. The evening opened with a star-studded red carpet where we spotted Anna Wintour, Steven Kolb, Steve Madden, Roopal Patel, Prabal Gurung, Mickey Boardman, Justin Tarquinio, and much more. Guests were able to bid on a slew of great silent auction items while enjoying delicious cocktails.
Later in the evening, attendees settled in for the awards presentation where Steve Madden presented Rob Smith with the Jeffrey Fashion Cares Community Leadership Award. After the live action, guests enjoyed the highly anticipated fashion show which features menswear designs from today’s top designers.
The evening was a success with the annual event raising over $669,000! Over the past 22 years, Jeffrey Fashion Cares has raised over $11 million, via the Atlanta and New York events, for the LGBT communities’ most important charities and non-profit organizations, with 95% of every dollar raised going directly into the coffers of the beneficiaries. www.jeffreyfashioncares.org
