New York felt the love on March 12 with the “Summer in New York” evening that launched Bond No.9’s I Love New York perfume collection, New York State’s Path Through History Weekends and the I LOVE NEW YORK WATER Refillable Bottle Campaign promoting the state’s waterways and pure drinking water.
Bond No. 9 drew inspiration from the empire state to create a collection that embodies the total New York experience, envisioned as a touchstone of dreams from landmark waterfalls and wine trials to cultural icons and epicurean delights. The Bond No. 9 New York collection includes the perfumes I Love New York for Her, Him, All, Earth Day, Mothers, Fathers and Marriage Equality.
Artisanal wines and cheeses, from across the state were featured delicacies along with information on the more than 200 special events planned for New York State’s Path Through History Weekends, June 1-2 and 8-9, at venues throughout the state. Each week starting April 1, the I LOVE NEW YORK social media channels will highlight one theme from Path Through History, featuring photos, videos, event itineraries and more to showcase the rich history of New York State.
Path Through History highlights historically and culturally significant sites and events throughout New York State. The program, introduced by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, builds on New York’s already robust heritage tourism attractions. The initiative is currently focused on 12 themes including: Arts & Culture, Natural History, U.S. Presidents, Women’s Rights, Canals & Transportation, Civil Rights, Colonial History, Innovation & Commerce, The Revolution, Native American Heritage, Sports History and the War of 1812. Important heritage sites and events across the state were selected with input from leading historians.
