Inspired the romantic notion of the one that got away, Yoo finds his muse in an age-old love story. His vision includes alluring feminine lines in the women’s collection highlighted by soft florals and delicate details. The men’s collection features tactile fabrics and sharp lines to flatter and enhance the masculine frame. The Yoo fashion dynasty began with a few men’s shirts and quickly expanded to include complete dressing for both Men and Women. Having been featured in several well-known publications the collections embody and effortless practical style that has become the trademark of this fledgling designer.
Of the fall 2012 pieces, one of our favorite looks is this head to toe blues combo. The varying shades of blue are complimented by an assortment of fabrics ranging from soft knits to slinky satin.
In the Men’s collection, the jackets stood out as innovative statement pieces. This warm grey blazer gets an update with the soft shearling collar.
We also loved the layered looks of the menswear alongside the soft feminine counterparts.
The overall look was smart and sophisticated an homage to the well-dressed ladies and gentlemen of yesteryear.
The look of Yoo’s collection is a marriage of practical and fashionable. Each feminine piece compliments its male counterpart with a subtle note of sex appeal and feminine charm. Though these looks won’t be available for a few more months, feel free to shop the Spring 2012 line at www.hydenyoo.com
