Gerber Group will be operating The Pool Bar and Observation Deck at the highly anticipated TWA Hotel, opening May 15.
Always refreshing, the water in the 63-by-20-foot infinity edge pool offers a much-needed respite during sweltering Summers. Come winter, it turns into a pool-cuzzi — the water can be heated up to 100 degrees! Whatever the weather, the H2O is perpetually pristine: the highly filtered water is purified every 30 minutes (a standard pool recirculates every 6 hours!).
Inspired by the infinity edge pool at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France, the swimming spot has a beach entry and underwater seating — not to mention a gleaming TWA logo mosaic in the signature colors of gold and red. And its view tops the Mediterranean Sea any day: The infinity pool and its 10,000-square-foot observation deck sits on the horizon of a thrilling scene — JFK’s bustling Runway 4 Left/22 Right, with views all the way to Jamaica Bay.
In addition to a variety of cocktails — from the Mile High Spritz (vodka, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, fresh lime juice, and prosecco) to the Watermelon Collins (Aviation gin, watermelon, and lemon juices, agave and club soda) — Gerber Group will serve food from a full rooftop kitchen.
Sounds like the perfect place to enjoy the picturesque views of New York.
Cheers!
