Former
Sosa’s collection, presented as Esosa designs, a joint venture between Emilio and his brothers, Nick and Felipe, highlighted his dedication to color, structure and modern sensibilities which resonate throughout his collection. The pieces in the presentation featured leading tones of red, blue and black, each designed as ready to wear with a small flair of couture for the modern, every day woman.
Sosa played with shapes and textures including fringe, sequins and leather, evident in a variety of styles throughout his collection which included a mid-thigh black leather coat, a red shoulder wrap, a black sequined hooded jacket with black sequin tights, a red leather jacket, blue and red pants and a blue cape coat. Each of the models wore the same black platform shoes which conveyed a statement of uniformity and cohesiveness to the collection, while he played with contrasting pieces in the same color families from pants, to evening gowns, skirts and jackets.
