XOJOHN was invited to the Viper Room in Los Angeles for an exclusive performance with Eric Dill, former lead singer of “The Click Five”. You may have heard their hit song, “Just the Girl”. It was certainly the biggest sing-a-long of last summer. The song became the #1 most-downloaded song on iTunes for over 2 weeks, leading to an RIAA platinum certification as a Digital Single.
Now, Eric has returned to the music scene with a solo album, “Forever is Not Enough”. His experience with the band has allowed him to master his craft and grow musically. The album conveys just that.
Dill has collaborated with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroger and American Idol star Chris Daughtry to produce and write Daughtryβs hit single βNo Surprise.β
We entered the Viper Room and spotted Dill in a T-shirt, vest, and pants constructed of leather and denim. Of course, we had to ask him about his personal style. “I want my style to look as if I crawled out of the ground after a disaster. Black and grey are my favorite colors”, he said. Eric currently resides in Los Angeles and enjoys working out and playing video games.
Eric’s sound was certainly amazing to experience live. For more information, visit www.ericdill.com
