Last week the enCourange Kids Foundation held its second annual serving up smiles soiree. The party was held at Current, one of the city’s most sought after waterfront venues. The event combined philanthropy and good food as chefs from all over the city provided food and beverage and guests bid on spectacular items via silent auction. The tasting included dishes from some of the tri-state area’s finest restaurants. Some of the best dishes of the evening included sumptuous grilled cheeses from Melt, Duck Confit buns from Buns Bar and tasty desserts from world famous Carlo’s Bakery. The tasting provided a fun distraction from the excitement of bidding wars in the silent auction. The items up for auction ranged from beauty baskets to one of a kind signed sports memorabilia.
