East Side House Settlement (ESH) is a community-based nonprofit organization providing education and social services throughout the Bronx and northern Manhattan. ESH enhances the New York Education system and places post-secondary options within reach of students with workforce development and career readiness training. Last night, East Side House Settlement hosted the 18th Annual Gala Preview of the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) at the Jacob Javits Center in New York; co-chaired by Philip L. Yang and Christopher LaSusa, and the Benefit Committee was co-chaired by Samuel P.C. Dangremond, Stuart Orenstein, and Eric Wittenberg.
Over 1,200 guests, including, Fe Fendi, Mindaugas Kuzminskas (New York Knicks), Robin Lord Taylor (FOX’s “Gotham”), Christopher & Jennifer LaSusa, Philip & Maria Yang, Chris Marchand, Mark Schienberg, David & Joss Sackler, Lacary Sharpe, Elizabeth Donnem Sigety, Richard W. Ziegelasch, and more filled the Jacob Javitz Center to sip on cocktails by Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Prosecco DOC, while enjoying music by DJ Alex Merrell. During the dinner, guests were treated to a beautiful performance from British pop superstar Ellie Goulding and took part in a live auction to bid on items like a one-year lease of a 2018 Land Rover Discovery, a luxury Aman:USA travel package, a weekend stay at Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee, and the country’s first 2018 Range Rover Velar.
