DIFFA’s Dining by Design Gala Dinner 2012

As you know we love DIFFA and everything they do to support and educate us about HIV/AIDS. Since being founded in 1984, DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) has mobilized the immense resources of the design communities to provide over $40 million to hundreds of AIDS service organizations nationwide. We had the pleasure of attending the 15th annual Dining by Design New York Gala Dinner.

This year, DIFFA honored Alfredo Paredes, Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Officer for Ralph Lauren Corporation, with the DIFFA Service Award. Ralph Lauren himself was there to present the award.

Dining by Design brings together some of the most talented and celebrated individuals in the worlds of fashion, interior design, art, and architecture to create spectacular, over-the-top dining environments.

For the first time this year, the tour will expanded beyond their traditional dining installations and feature an EFFEN Vodka inspired custom bar and lounge area created by the brand’s designer partner, Richard Chai. For more information on on the organization, visit diffa.org
