Last week, the fashion world descended on the Dream Hotel to support fashion icon Iman, CEO of IMANCosmetics and founder of IMAN Global Chic as she officially launched Destination IMAN, a website dedicated to her travels and how they relate to the worlds of fashion, beauty and lifestyle. The A-List guests list included Coco Rocha, Estelle, Rachel Zoe, Padma Lakshmi, Brian Atwood, Erin O’Connor, Nadejda Savcova, Joan Smalls, Karen Elson, Stephen Gan, June Ambrose, Robert Verdi, Rachel Roy, Chris Benz, Carlos Souza, Scott Lipps, Nadia Grifith, Noah Mills, Derek Blasberg, Shala Monroque, Marie Powell, Simon Doonan, and many more.
In partnership with Built by the Factory, Destination IMAN invites viewers into the areas that have made her a household name with a curated showcase of unique finds and inspirations. “I find so much inspiration from the places I have visited throughout my life, and taking people on a journey was the driving focus behind the website,” said Iman. “After turning 57 this year, I started thinking about who I have become, and am still becoming, as a woman, daughter, wife and mother. I have gone on countless fabulous travels, and now I want to share these experiences to inspire others.”
Destination IMAN features Ageless Chic. Monthly at Ageless Chic, Iman will be unapologetically sharing the secret to not looking frumpy without looking shamefully trendy. She will help you get unstuck and shift your state of mind, peel back years and layers to connect with what you really want or really need. Ageless Chic articles will become a regular fixture on Huffington Post, aligning with sections such as Huff/Post 50 and Style.
The inaugural September issue will celebrate high fashion and feature collections by the likes of Rachel Zoe, Alexander McQueen, Donna Karan, Rachel Roy and others. Iman will take her readers on a trip to the fashion capital, Paris, embracing fall trends with a strong focus on black & white, bold patterns and brand new silhouettes.
