Gervonta Davis (25-0, 24 KOs) moves up two weight classes to become a three-division world champion with a spectacular body shot TKO over previously unbeaten Mario Barrios (26-1, 17 KOs) in the Davis Barrios Showtime Pay Per View Saturday, June 26, 2021, in Atlanta. The highly anticipated boxing match took place at the State Farm Arena.
As we mentioned, renowned trial attorney Thomas J. Henry partnered with Mario “El Azteca” Barrios for this historic boxing match and upcoming projects, including multiple philanthropic endeavors. Highlights from Davis vs Barrios:
- Grand entrances from both boxers were flashy and eye-catching; Davis walked in with rapper Lil Baby who performed as he made his way to the ring. Barrios entered in traditional attire along with a professional Aztec Dance Troupe.
- Barrios landed a few good shots at Davis in Round 3, while he moves along the ropes.
- In round 5, we see Davis a big left-hand punch at Barrios.
- In between breaks, Floyd Mayweather can be seen encouraging Davis from outside the ring.
- In round 7, Barrios throwing to the body lands a bit.
- Barrios goes down in the 8th round, after only 60 seconds. Barrios is back up and defends himself. At this point, the crowd is going NUTS!
- In round 10, Davis is backing Barrios up again, but Barrios lands a HARD right with a body shot. Davis hits back and drills Barrios. At this point, the crowd is cheering on their feet and chairs.
- Final round (Round 11), Barrios’ left glove tape becomes undone. Things get pretty intense as everyone watches. Both are throwing body shots. Davis lands a mean right hook which takes Barrios down. Barrios is eventually up but ruled down and it was over. Davis wins and ends with a signature backflip off the ropes.

Overall, it was a grueling heart-felt fight throughout all 11 rounds. Both boxers showed great sportsmanship and love for one another when it was all over. Everyone may have chosen their favorite but we could all agree both Davis and Barrios have what it takes to further their boxing careers.
