Bilal
Nine years since his first album, Bilal is officially back, with a new sound on the highly anticipated Airtight’s Revenge. He celebrated the release with a concert at B.B. Kings in New York City. From the moment he stepped on the stage he took his fans on a cosmic ride to another galaxy and back to Earth. He cruised through his older and popular tracks such as Reminisce, Soul Sista, Sometimes, Hollywood, and Something to Hold On To. Bilal didn’t let the crowd rest continuing the show with new tracks such as Cake and Eat It Too, Restart, All Matter, Move On, Think It Over, and Flying. If that wasn’t enough, he returned to the stage performing a rocking cover of Tainted Love as an encore.
Surrounded by ecstatic Bilal fans screaming and singing along with him, it confirmed what I knew already, Bilal is an extremely talented artist who isn’t afraid to push artistic boundaries. Music hasn’t been the same without his voice. If you have never had the pleasure in seeing Bilal live, you don’t know what you are missing, he will change the way you listen to music.
