Carlos
The silk and cotton shirting was sophisticated yet relaxed. Campos succeeded in creating shirts that have a minimal bent yet contain individualism in the use of prints. There were shirts of soft pale blue, olive-green and bleached yellow. A rich dynamism was created in one shirt that fused striped and solid patterns, as well as the use of asymmetrical color blocking on a polo.
Slim pants executed in a variety of neutrals grounded the more colorful shirts and allowed for these pieces to be interchanged effortlessly. Color was seen on pants as well, in the form of sky blue and plush coral. It wasn’t just the clean lines that made this collection so wonderful, it was the ingenious little details like the khaki shorts accentuated with color blocked waistband details in corals and royal blues, which lifted the garment from the utilitarian into something a little more special.
In terms of outterwear and sport jackets, there were solid options; a blazer in cobalt blue as well one in khaki, a deconstructed trench, and a bomber jacket in juicy orange. The versatility of this collection speaks to people who want unpretentious clothes that look nothing less than smashing.
The brogues had incredible fabric details rendered in stripes of muted complimentary colors inlaid on the leather surface of the shoe.
This is a collection that is basic, adaptable and beautiful and if I could, I would wear every item with the pure joy that the color in this collection radiates.
