With every CMJ concert I attended, no matter the artist or genre, I walk away with a sense of renewed inspiration. Every hour a talented musician stepped on a stage and shared a part of themselves with hundreds of strangers. Just days after the release of her album From the Echo, Cyndi Harvell made her CMJ debut when several years before, she sold everything she owned and moved from Georgia to California with a dream in her heart. Her sweet voice is a mixture of pop and folk that could easily put her in the same realm of Jewel and Colbie Caillat.
JSD got up close and personal with the talented singer/songwriter to find out what inspires her. From the Echo is now available for download.
