Clinton Hall has gifted us with another Summer hotspot, just this time we’re all going to be crossing the bridge over to Brooklyn and going to their new beer garden at 247 Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg! The restaurant is located next to the POD BK Hotel, who Clinton Hall worked with previously to open up their location in midtown earlier this year. Guests can access Clinton Hall through the Pod BK Hotel or by the street entrance.
The menu of this new location still features some of Clinton Hall’s delicious classics such as the Doughnut Grilled Cheese, Fondue Burger, and W.T.F Waffles. There are also a few new items created by Chef Eric Rentz, the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, Kimchi Hot Dog, and Spicy Duck Chorizo Burger. Much of the food goes along with the community atmosphere of the restaurant and is easy to share with the whole table as opposed to individual meals. The Brooklyn menu is served daily from 7AM – 2AM.
As for drinking, the location has twenty rotating taps of seasonal beer and cider for every guest to find something they like. If beer and cider are not really your thing, Clinton Hall has decided to honor the drink of Summer and serve frozen Rosé, also known as “Diablo Frosé”. If tequila is your thing, the restaurant also serves up a delicious Jalapeno Margaritas.
The layout of the restaurant is designed to create a communal environment that allows people to take advantage of all the place has to offer. The indoor section features wide windows that open onto the streets. Behind the bar is the 2,000 square feet secluded that has a few enlarged classic games like Chess and Connect 4. A majority of the tables are picnic-like, helping guests enjoy each other’s company as they eat and play. On the tables, there are games like Uno, miniature foosball, and Jenga. Throughout the restaurant there are four 65 inch and one 85 inch TVs up and ready for any and all game days.
Clinton Hall, in my opinion, is quickly becoming the go-to place for New Yorkers looking for a night out with friends. The restaurant accommodates up to 300 guests and is very spacious. Williamsburg has quickly become a popular spot for people in the city to plan a visit to. So make a day out of it! Take the L train or a ferry on over to Williamsburg, enjoy the city skyline, check out some of the shops, go thrifting, and wind down with dinner and a beer at Clinton Hall’s new location!
