Last night, New York City was chilly but at Soho Cigar Bar, the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and inviting as the Cigar hotspot celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Soho Cigar Bar began as Circa Tabac and has the vibes of a 1920’s speakeasy with plush leather furnishings and art deco inspired décor. Over 150 guests packed the bar where everyone indulged in the finest cigars, signature cocktails, delicious food, and top-notch service. Even owner Lee Ringelheim and GM Michael Dounoulis, who is the only certified Cigar Sommelier in the state, greeted guests and made sure everyone was having a good time.
Hudson Whiskey was also on hand to serve up classic Old Fashioned drinks to guests.
Soho Cigar Bar’s decor very impressive with modern touches including a state-of-the-art ventilation system and flat screen TVs throughout, discreetly hidden behind timeless art photography.
The celebrating continued late into the night. No guests left empty-handed, attendees when over with a gift bag filled with Soho Cigar Bar merchandise, ranging from ashtrays and cutters, to commemorative lighters, in addition to Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey shot glasses, Balvenie Doublewood 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky, Frey freshener, a Madame Paulette stain removal kit and a copy of the newest issue of Cigar Aficionado magazine.
It was a beautiful and timeless celebration. Soho Cigar Bar located at 32 Watts St, New York, NY and is open to the public seven days a week beginning at 12pm.
