I recently attended the opening of Highwater Rooftop, the luxury lounge and bar located on the 25th floor of Hotel Indigo’s Wall Street location.
The 25th Annual Collaborating for a Cure Gala, one of New York City’s favorite charity events celebrated its silver anniversary at Cipriani Wall Street. The “fun-raiser as opposed to the fundraiser” as described by Michael Nierenberg raised more than $6 million towards the goal of funding the next five years of crucial SWCRF cancer research programs such as the Partnership for Aging and Cancer Research Program, the SWCRF Institute Without Walls, and the Women’s Cancer Research Program.
On Monday November 14, 2022, RR Auction’s SVP Bobby Livingston & The Chelsea Hotel hosted a private preview of previously unseen paintings, illustrations, and self-portraits from It Girl, actress & Warhol’s SuperStar SuperStar Edie Sedgwick, produced from 1960 through 1970, with several of the works from 1965, Edie’s time as Andy Warhol’s muse at the Factory.

Edie’s late husband Michael Post, brother John Sedgwick, as well as close friend & legendary music producer Danny Fields, were in attendance, as well as art world and collectors Gillian McCain, Misha Barton, Lady Liliana Cavendish, Spyros Niarchos, Janna Bullock & Michele Gerber Klein, Warhol Foundation Vincent Fremont, Beyeler Museum’s Sam Keller, actors Griffin Dunne & Ezra Williams, producers Jane Rosenthal, Darren Aronovsky, Laura Bickford and John Buffalo Mailer, photographers Craig McDean, Michael Avedon & Mary Ellen Matthews as well as fashion world’s Zac Posen, Christiaan, James Kaliardos, Anne Christensen, Harol Baez, Alix Brown, Freddie Lieba, Di Mondo & Logan Horne. Now in its 14th year, the Taste of the Upper West Side is proudly hosted by The Columbus Avenue Business Improvement District and ensures that the proceeds from the annual fundraiser go back into the community and help fund neighborhood projects.
