The menswear collection picked up where it left off with designs inspired by architect Santiago Calatrava. The newest collection also kept up the monochromatic theme from the previous season, only this time in darker hues of blue, mustard and burgundy.
Slim fits and strong tailoring anchored the 1960’s-fill of the collection. Personally, I think that it’s time for designers to choose another decade to “reinvent” but with that said, Carlos Campos managed to find a new way to play with the decade of disillusionment.
Printed pants and the love of bicycles were the highlights of the collection. Every fashionable male is in need of a graphic bicycle sweater in either burgundy or camel.
With sleek blazers and impeccable button-down shirts, Carlos Campos fall/winter 2013 should be generously incorporated throughout men’s wardrobes everywhere.
