One of the beauties of autumn is the view of rich colors in nature. Carlos Campos incorporated bursts of deep and warm hues, which reminds us of tinted autumnal leaves, in his Fall/Winter 2012 collection, held at MADE on February 12th. Love in the Time of Cholera, a book written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, inspired Carlos to blossom masculine romanticism within his sharply tailored menswear garments.
The passion and sophistication of the modern man are illuminated by Carlos’s translation of love. Saturated in the coloration, the outerwear’s boldness outstandingly grabbed our attention. One of our favorites was the soft cashmere and cotton tops, effortlessly give a flirtatious flair and ultimate comfort. The key of this total look is the balance of vibrant accent colors in the accessories, such as vivid orange belts and lace-up shoes with bright colored soles.
There are many artists who have tried to express true love in their creative work. Carlos successfully showed it in a way that we get to live in and carry on.
