Cache is a brand that is synonymous with Malls in America. Usually, that would be a “bad” thing when it comes to fashion and true style. However, I was impressed by a few pieces from their Holiday 2011 & Resort 2012 collections. Their overarching design concept is “Golden Age”. They have included varying types of gold embellishments throughout the line. Some miss the mark but others are definitely on point.
A few standout pieces include a trench with pleather and studs. It won’t be out until 12/26 so you’ll have to lust over it a bit longer and ask for Cache gift cards as a holiday gift.Another great outfit is a gold knit cropped cardigan sweater with gold studs paired with a scarf style blouse. I loved everything about those two pieces together. What I especially liked about the sweater is its seaming which means, unlike your other knit pieces, it skims the body instead of covering it up. Those pieces will be in store in late November.
There is also a striped navy and white ponte knit dress that I adored and red satin pants, oh my!
One miss was the denim with the highly embellished back pockets. I am going to go out on a limb and say, that trend is over. Let’s just leave it at that.
All in all there are a number of great pieces in the line so save your pennies or get ready to ask Santa for them.
