“Live every day like it’s your last” is one of the rules I try to adopt in my life. This includes being adventurous, taking risks, and living without regrets. I often apply this to travel. This travel bug I currently have has me searching flight deals at least once a day, whether it’s for a last-minute adventure or planning a winter getaway for my birthday. Speaking of my birthday, it’s December 27th, in case you wanted to book my next trip.
I almost never hesitate to snag a good flight deal when I see one because I know my favorite website, Booking.com, will always have several accommodating options for me. I’ve been using the hotel booking giant since 2013 when I stumbled upon it while exploring Christmas and birthday options. The wanderluster in me needed to escape the brutal winter and celebrate another year on earth. Christmas was less than a week away. At the time, Puerto Rico was on my shortlist of must-visit destinations because I’d never been and flights were extremely inexpensive, so I booked it! Immediately after, I searched for hotels in San Juan that offered a pay during your stay option. Booking.com popped up in my searches and had an endless listing of hotels. After reading over a few honest and weird reviews, along with viewing photos, I ultimately decided on The San Juan hotel.
I was sent an instant confirmation and my plans were set in motion. I was going to spend Christmas and my birthday on the beach. Best idea ever!
Today, I still use the site for all of my hotel needs. With plans to visit Dubai in the near future, I often monitor any new deals that may arise. Luckily they have apps like Booking Now to make my hotel stalking so much easier (lol). Bookings and cancellations can be done with a few swipes of the finger. It also lists my previous bookings like you see in the screenshot above. I will more than likely use Booking Now when my friends and I are looking for a quick getaway. We often decide to pick up and go to the Hamptons or Atlantic City, when the weather is nice. Spontaneity, it’s in our blood. I challenge you to be adventurous by booking it and GO!
