Now that summer is FINALLY here. I have put together a list of specialty cocktails that you cannot pass up on this summer. We have everything from sparkling wines and flavored vodka toย rum and whisky cocktails.
Let’s begin shall we?
Chandon
3 oz Chandon Brut Classic
2/3 oz Belvedere Citrus
1/3 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Dash of Simple Syrup
Garnish with fresh fruit
Directions: Shake ingredients over ice and strain into a flute and top with 3oz Chandon Brut Classic.
Watermelon Fresca Fizz
3 oz watermelon purรฉe (1/2 small seedless watermelon, peeled and cut into cubes, 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice)
1/4 oz agave syrup
1/4 oz fresh lime juice
Dash of rose water
3 oz Chandon Rosรฉ
Directions: Put the watermelon and lemon juice in a blender and purรฉe.
Pour 3 oz of the watermelon purรฉe into a rocks glass. Add the agave syrup, lime juice and rose water. Stir. Add the Rosรฉ and ice. Serve.
Solerno Smash
4 oz. Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 orange wedge squeezed and dropped in
2 dashes orange bitters
6 mint leaves
Directions: Assemble all ingredients. Shake well and strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a blood orange wheel.
Lillet Rouge Sangria
3 parts Lillet Rouge or Blanc
ยฝ part fresh lime juice
Lemon-lime soda
Diced fresh fruit of choice (berries, apples, grapes, oranges, etc.)
Directions: Build cocktail over ice in a wine glass or Collins glass and stir to combine. Top with lemon-lime soda and garnish with an orange slice.
Cali Daiquiri
2 oz Caliche Rum
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
ยพ oz Agave Nectar
1 Fresh Strawberry
Garnish: Strawberry
In a shaker, combine all ingredients, then lightly muddle the strawberry. Shake vigorously until well chilled.ย Strain into an ice filled rocks glass and garnish with strawberry.
Cali Gold 2 oz Caliche Rum
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1/4 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice
ยพ oz Simple Syrup
3 – 6 Cilantro Leaves
Garnish: Cilantro Leaf
In a rocks glass, combine all ingredients and lightly muddle Cilantro leaves. Top with crushed ice or preferably nugget ice. Garnish with a cilantro spring.
Cali Libre
2 oz Caliche Rum
Regular or Diet Coke
Garnish: Lime wedge
Pour Caliche in a highball glass already filled with ice. Top with Coke. Garnish with lime wedge.
Cali Mojitoย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย
2 oz Caliche Rum
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
ยพ oz Agave Nectar
8 Mint Leaves
Crushed Ice on Top
Garnish: Mint Sprig
In a rocks glass, combine all ingredients, then lightly muddle mint leaves. Top with crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.
Cali Mayflower
2 oz Caliche Rum
3/4 oz Lime Juice
1 tbsp of Cranberry Jam. (1 oz if using cranberry sauce)
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Cranberries for garnish
Combine the first 3 ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into a rocks filled glass and top with the bitters. Add cranberries for garnish.
Rum Sunset
1 1/2 oz Caliche Rum
1/2 oz Amaretto
1 oz Orange Juice
1 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz White Cranberry Juice
1/3 oz Lime Juice
3 dashes Orange bitters for garnish.
Fresh mint sprigs for garnish.
Combine all ingredients over ice in a shaker and shake until well chilled. Strain over cubed ice in a tall glass. Add a dash of bitters and dress with the mint.
Ginger Cosmo
50ย ml Belvedereย Mango Passion
15 mlย Domaineย de Canton
10 ml fresh lime juice
20 ml cranberry juice
Combine all ingredients in a tin and shake with ice. Fine strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with an orange twist.
Mango Mimosa
1 ย oz Belvedere Mango Passion
1.5 oz tangerine juice
Shake and pour into a flute
Top with champagne or sparkling wine
Mango Mule
50 ml Belvedere Mango Passion
10 ml fresh lime juice
Dash Angostura Vitter
Top Fever Tree Ginger Beer
Build drink in a copper mug and top with crushed ice and a lime wheel. May also be served in a highball over cubed ice.
Poolside Passion Pitcher
200 ml Belvedere Mango Passion
Top fresh pressed lemonade
Combine ingredients with ice in a large pitcher and serve with slices of fresh mango. Serves 4-6.
DISARONNO Sparkling Sour
1.5 oz DISARONNO
1oz lemon juice
.5 oz simple syrup
1.5oz prosecco
DISARONNO JAZZYย HOUR
ยฝ part DISARONNO
1 part Vodka
ยฝ part Tangerine liqueur
1 part Pineapple juice
Splash lemon juice
Direction: Shake with ice and strain into a martini cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange slice.
Summer Slow Down
1.5 oz Hennessy VS
.75 oz Sloe Gin
.75 oz Fresh Meyer Lemon Juice
.5 oz Simple syrup
4 dashes Paychaud bitters
Garnish: Lemon Twist
Glass: Rocks
Method: Add all liquid to a shaker tin with ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice, garnish with a lemon twist and serve.

1.5 oz Hennessy VS
.25 oz Amaretto
1 oz Simple syrup
.75 oz fresh Lemon Juice
4 dashes Angostura Bitters
Garnish: Lemon Twist
Glass: Rocks
Method: Add all liquid to a shaker tin with ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice, garnish with a lemon twist and serve.
Blood Orange Bitters
2 oz Hennessy
.5 oz fresh lemon juice
1/3rd oz Agave Nectar
1 oz fresh Blood Orange
1 dash Angostura bitters
Garnish: Blood orange twist
Glass: Rocks
Method: Add all liquid to a shaker tin with ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice, garnish with a blood orange twist and serve.
Sunset Punch
1.5 liters of Water
1 liter Hennessy VS
5 oz Gin
2 oz Grand Marnier
2 cups of simple syrup or 3 cups of sugar
9 oz of lemon juice
4 oz of Hibiscus Grenadine
1 Grapefruit cut into ยฝ wheels
1 oranges sliced into wheels
2 Lemons Cut into Wheels
2 Limes Cut into Wheels
20 Dashes Orange bitters or other citrus bitters
Method: Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir to dissolve sugar somewhat before adding a large block of ice to chill punch before serving.
DEWARS SMASH
2 parts DEWARโS WHITE LABEL Blended Scotch Whisky
1โ2 mixing spoons granulated sugar or ยพ parts simple syrup
2 wedges of lemon
3โ4 fresh mint sprigs

DEWARโS ROB ROY
3 parts Dewarโs White Label Blended Scotch Whisky
2 1/2 parts Martini & Rossi Rosso vermouth
2 dashes bitters
2 dashes simple syrup
1 cherry
The St. Germain Cocktail
2 parts MARTINI Prosecco
1ยฝ parts St-Germain
2 parts Club Soda
Method: Stir ingredients in a tall ice-filled Collins glass, mixing completely. Think of Paris circa 1947. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Variation: Think of Sartre circa 1947. Be the lemon twist.
Sangria Flora
1 bottle ย Sauvignon Blanc or Dry White Wine
1 cup ย St-Germain
2 Fresh Peaches
5-6 Fresh Strawberries
6 Fresh Raspberries
1 bunch Fresh Grapes
Method: Stir ingredients in a pitcher or carafe. Soak for approximately 15 minutes (or longer if desired). Serve in an ice-filled glass, then telephone your physician and regale him with stories of your exemplary fruit consumption. Serve with St-Germain spoon-straws to enjoy the fruit while drinking
MARTIN Prosecco Bellini
2 parts white peach puree
MARTINI Prosecco
Pour white peach puree into a glass. Top with chilled MARTINI Prosecco and serve.
Apple of my Eye
3 parts MARTINI Prosecco
2 parts MARTINI Extra Dry vermouth
1 part Apple Juice
Pour MARTINI vermouth and apple juice into flute glass. Top with MARTINI Prosecco.
Solbeso Cocktails
BESO PICANTE No. 2
2 parts Solbeso
1 part lemon juice
ยพ part simple syrup
2-3 jalapeรฑo slices
Muddle jalapeรฑo with fresh lemon juice; Add Solbeso, simple syrup and shake with ice; Shake, strain into an ice-filled rocks glass; Garnish with jalapeรฑo slice.
BIRDS & THE BEES
2 parts Solbeso
ยฝ part lemon juice
ยฝ part honey syrup
Combine ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake, strain into a chilled cocktail glass; Garnish with a lemon peel twist.
EL CONQUISTADOR
2 parts Solbeso
1 part sweet vermouth
2 dashes orange bitters
Combine ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice; Stir 15 seconds, strain into a chilled cocktail glass; Garnish with cherry or lemon peel twist.
SOLBESO & SWEET TEA
2 parts Solbeso
2 ยพ parts iced tea
ยพ parts simple syrup
Build in high-ball glass over fresh ice; Stir, garnish with lemon wheel.
Signature Gran Lusso Cocktails

1 part Bacardi 8 Year Rum
1 part MARTINI Gran Lusso
1 dash Orange curacao
Maraschino cherry to garnish
Build cocktail in a mixing glass. Add ice. Stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Gran Lusso Martinez
1 part Bombay Sapphire
1 part MARTINI Gran Lusso
1 dash Maraschino liqueur
1 splash Angostura Bitters
Lemon peel or twist to garnish
Build cocktail in a mixing glass. Add ice. Stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Gran Lusso Rob Roy
1 large chunk of ice
1 part Dewarโs Scotch Whisky
1 part MARTINI Gran Lusso
Orange peel or twist to garnish
Build drink in a cocktail glass with ice. Garnish and serve.
Gran Lusso Negroni
1 part Campari
1 part Bombay Sapphire
1 part MARTINI Gran Lusso
Garnish with an orange slice.
Stir the ingredients over ice. Strain into a lowball glass with a large chunk of ice. Garnish and serve.
