BagTrends.com founded by Pamela Pekerman hosted their Fall 2009 Arm Candy Party on Wednesday October 7th 2009. For all those who LOVE LOVE handbags! Fashion Handbags to be precise. The name says it all!!! The event was held at Phyto Universe 715 Lexington Ave. at 58th Street, NYC.
It was an evening of checking out new an exciting bag trends from some of the hottest contemporary handbag designers and so you could SHOP! SHOP! SHOP! their new lines! Needed a mini break from indulging in so much arm candy? Voga Wine was there and ready to relieve you for a couple minutes. If that wasn’t enough you could take another few minutes and receive complimentary hand massages, mini facials and hair and skin analysis provided by Lierac and Phyto. Mingling and meeting the designers behind Beirn, Clara Kasavina, Adriana Castro, Anavaa Kisasa, Radley, Stella Filante, Lena Erziak and Zara Terez, just to name a few, made up just the right mix of handbags depending on your taste and style!
What popped out to me was Adriana Castro‘s colorful handbags and clutches made with “real skin” python, lizard and crocodile. I couldn’t help to notice Clara Kasavina‘s elegant clutches, made with such care and detail. Inspired by her daughter’s artwork, Clara herself has hand painted onto some of her fall 2009 clutches. Beautiful pieces for a special occasion or just an evening out on the town. For a more practical fashionable taste Radley‘s London earthy colored leather handbags entire collection can now be purchased in selected stores all over the U.S., a first for them! Handbags featured in “Sex And The City” movie by trendsetters “Beirn”, their fall trends included colorful snakeskin bags and accessories. Many were fascinated, including myself, over “Clipa” the instant handbag hanger, a brilliant idea and as the night goes…attendees got to enjoy three hours of mingling, drinking, shopping and pampering.
Thanks to BagTrends.com for making this event possible and double thanks to BagTrends.com for selling their own Bag-a-licious t-shirts and totes which donated 15% of sales to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
