The Artistry Beauty Lounge, which took place during New York Fashion Week at the Empire Hotel, was a pampering experience that provided editor and bloggers with a relaxing environment. The quaint suite which was a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the Lincoln Center traffic held a beauty bar and 15-minute virtual eyelift for beauty lovers.

Milly Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

by Yanni D

Since 2001, Milly by Michelle Smith has produced timeless silhouettes with smart, sexy and feminine flair. Her spring/summer 2013 collection continued with the same aesthetic. The collection encompassed sophisticated looks filled with bold colors and amazing prints. Neon colors such as green, yellow and coral were a common trend throughout the collection as well as cobalt blue, which has been a favorite these past few seasons. The prints incorporated were chic and tasteful with a slight edge and the base for most of the pieces were outlined in black and white.

The Twentyten Spring/Summer 2011

by Yanni D

Three designers – Jeff Dodd, David J. Krause and Nina Zilka – collectively make up The Twentyten. These talented designers met at Pratt Institute and decided to take avant-garde to another level. Collection Four, their Spring/Summer 2011 collection, explores the dynamics of the mind while combining complex creativity. The pieces this season transition from dark and playful, vibrant and gloomy to intricate and delicate simplicity; all consistent with the inner-workings in the mind of a fictional female character.
