I love a classic fashion show. I got everything I wanted and more at the Zang Toi runway show. When attending a show I like to be taken in with the entire production and when the lights went down for the Zang Toi runway and Adele started playing I knew I was in for an emotional reaction to what I was about to see.
I must confess, Duckie Brown and I have this love/hate relationship.
The designers of Duckie Brown always leave just a bit to be desired in my heart. Their spring summer collection seemed to be a bit haphazard and incongruous.
Tibi Spring 2012 collection is a lesson in simple elegance. Everything that came down the runway embodied that a great designer can make simple not a negative.
