Spectators at Alexandre Herchcovitch’s New York Fashion week show were transported back into time. The brief visit to the 1980’s came courtesy of Alexandre’s soundtrack of classic Boy George hits. The music gave the audience a not so subtle hint at the collection’s inspiration. Inspired by the Culture Club’s irreverant often androgenous style, the look was totally 80’s in a big dramatic way. Oversized tops and tailored skirts made up the bulk of the collection. Check prints and heart appliques were also spread out throuout the pieces.
The
Along with skirts Herchcovitch presented a few sleek pant looks. This bright yellow take on the classic tuxedo is paired with dark blue pumps. The fit is a relaxed comfortable contrast to last year’s pieces.
We loved this graphic black and white print dress. The tonal print is accented by bright reds and yellows for pops of color.
