Halloween is a few weeks away! We’ve complied a list of our favorite spooky Halloween inspired cocktails for you to indulge in. We have everything from Rum to tequila.
As you begin to carve your pumpkins and break out your heavy sweaters, Kahlúa, the rum and coffee liqueur and Malibu, the original coconut liqueur and Caribbean rum blend want to ensure you are well prepared to enjoy the change in season with fall flavor favorites Kahlúa Pumpkin Spice and Malibu Black, Red and Spiced.
Malibu Witches Brew
- 1 ½ parts Malibu Red
- 2 parts pineapple-orange juice
- ½ part blue curaçao liqueur
Shake ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, then strain into a martini glass. For a wicked touch, garnish with lychee fruit stuffed with blueberry and drip with grenadine.
Malibu Swamp Water
- 1 ½ parts Malibu Spiced
- 10-12 fresh mint leaves
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 part lime juice
- 2 parts club soda
- ½ part cola
- 10 blueberries
Muddle sugar, mint, and lime juice in bottom of a mason jar. Add crushed ice to two thirds of glass, add Malibu® Spiced, then top with soda water, cola, and blueberries. Garnish with gummy worms.
Kahlua Spiced Russian
- 1.5 parts Kahlúa Pumpkin Spice
- 0.5 part ABSOLUT Mandrin
- 1 part half and half
Build over ice in a rocks glass and stir. Garnish with freshly-grated nutmeg.
Kahlua Autumn Sweater
- 1.75 parts Kahlúa Pumpkin Spice
- 0.25 part Frangelico
- Top with cola
Build over ice in a highball glass, and garnish with a lemon wedge.
Malibu Pain Punch
- 2 parts Malibu Black
- 1 part fresh orange juice
- 4 parts unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1 part coconut water
Blend without ice and pour into a tall glass filled with ice.

The Plundering Pumpkin
- 1 oz. CAPTAIN MORGAN Original Spiced Rum
- 3 oz. Pumpkin Beer
- 1 oz. Ginger Ale
Combine ingredients in a tall glass filled with ice, garnish and stir.
The Morgan Monster
- 1.5 oz. CAPTAIN MORGAN Original Spiced Rum
- 0.5 oz. Sour Mix
- 1.5 oz. Soda Water
- Aromatic Bitters
- 2 Lemon Wedges
Combine all ingredients (except bitters) in a tall glass, filled with ice, float bitters on top of drink.
The Captain Cider
- 1 oz. CAPTAIN MORGAN Original Spiced Rum
- 1.5 oz. Cranberry Juice
- 1.5 oz. Hard Cider
Combine all ingredients in a rocks glass filled with ice, garnish with apple wedges and cranberry.
Spice Trader (Created by Brian Miller)
- 1 ½ oz Jägermeister
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- ½ oz Cana Brava rum
- ½ oz Don’s Spices #4
- ½ oz Don’s Spices #2
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz fresh orange juice
Shake with 3 ice cubes & strain into a highball glass over crushed ice & place in a double old fashioned glass with dry ice. Garnish with a long orange twist and add hot water to the dry ice.
Black and Orange (Created by Rob Krueger from Extra Fancy)
- 1.5 oz. Cutty Sark Prohibition Edition
- .5 oz. Amaro Meletti
- .5 oz. Yellow Chartreuse
- .5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1.5 oz. Fresh Pressed Carrot Juice
- Fresh ground Black Pepper for garnish
Shake all together with ice and strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Grind the black pepper on top to garnish.
Sleepy Hollow (Created by Josh Mazza, The Gilroy, NYC)
- 1 ½ oz. The Black Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky
- ¾ oz. Bittermans Coffee Liqueur
- ½ oz. Ancho Reyes Chili Liqueur
- 2 ½ oz. Almond Milk
Build into a Tiki mug. Add 1 pellet dry ice. Garnish with grated chocolate.
Black Witch (Created by Jim Kearns, Happiest Hour)
- 1-1/2 oz The Black Grouse
- 3/4 oz Cynar
- 1/2 oz Liquore Strega
Stir and strain over a large block of ice; Garnish with a lemon twist
For a larger batch:
- 6 parts The Black Grouse
- 2 parts Liquore Strega
- 3 parts Cynar
Garnish with lemon twists over a large block of ice
Hallows Eve (Created by Tim Coope, Sweetwater Social)
- 1.75oz The Famous Grouse
- 1oz Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- .75oz Grade ‘B’ Maple syrup
- .5oz Campari
Add all ingredients into a shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain over new ice into a double rocks glass. Garnish with an orange slice. *grade ‘B’ maple syrup is preferred as its richer and has a more robust flavor profile. However, the drink will still work if grade ‘A’ is used.
Batch Recipe:
- 1 bottle The Famous Grouse (750ml)
- 14oz Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 10oz Grade ‘B’ Maple syrup
- 7oz Campari
- 10oz Cold Water
Add all ingredients into a punch bowl. Stir well. Add ice. Decorate by adding Orange slices, Cranberries and Rosemary.
Apple Ducking (Created by Natasha David, Nitecap)
- 1.5 oz The Famous Grouse
- .5 oz The Black Grouse
- .5 oz Grade B Maple Syrup
- .5 oz Fresh Orange Juice
- .5 oz Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar
- Top with Seltzer
Shake with ice and strain into a Highball glass Garnish with Freshly Grated Cinnamon. *This drink is inspired by Apple Bobbing, or as it’s called in England, Apple Ducking.
Batch Recipe:
- 9 oz Famous Grouse
- 3 oz Black Grouse
- 3 oz Orange Juice
- 3 oz Grade B Maple Syrup
- 3 oz Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar
- Top with Seltzer
Method: Shake and Strain and then top with Seltzer
Glass: Highball with Ice
Garnish: Freshly Grated Cinnamon
Witch’s Potion
- 1 oz. Patrón XO Cafe Incendio
- 1 oz. Patron Reposado
- 0.5 oz. Medium Bodied Red Wine (ex. Barbera d’ Alba)
- 0.5 oz. Honey Syrup (3 parts of honey mixed with 1 part of hot water; chilled)
- 0.5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- 5 Cloves
Garnish: Cloves
Muddle cloves in a shaker until broken into small pieces. Add the rest of ingredients and ice. Shake and strain through a fine strainer into a chilled coupe glass. Drop 3 cloves into a cocktail.

SVEDKA Bloody Devil
INGREDIENTS:
- ¾ part SVEDKA Clementine
- ¾ part sweet vermouth
- ¾ part orange juice
- ½ part orange Curaçao
- Dash orange bitters
Fake blood: - ½ cup white corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ¼ cup water
- 15 drops red food coloring
- 1-5 drops blue food coloring
INSTRUCTIONS: Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake, and strain in to a Martini glass. Garnish with an orange peel.
Fake blood: In a bowl, mix the corn syrup and the corn starch together. Add water until the mixture is the consistency of blood. Mix in food coloring until you achieve the desired color.
SERPENT’S BITE Sour Venom
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 parts SERPENT’S BITE
- ¾ part fresh lemon juice
- ¾ part Simple syrup
- Dry red wine float
INSTRUCTIONS: Combine ingredients in a mixing glass except for red wine. Shake and strain over ice into a martini glass. Carefully layer red wine on top. Serve in a cocktail glass
SVEDKA Orange Scream Pop
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 parts SVEDKA Orange Cream Pop
- ½ part heavy cream
- ¼ part vanilla syrup
- Float grenadine
- Garnish with Candy Corn
INSTRUCTIONS: Combine ingredients in cocktail shaker over ice, shake and strain into Martini glass. Garnish with candy corn.
Vanilla Syrup: De-seed one vanilla pod and cut into quarters. Steep in one cup of hot water, turn off heat, and add one cup of granulated sugar. Store covered for 24 hours, strain into a container.
SERPENT’S BITE Fight Night
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 parts SERPENT’S BITE
- ¾ part raspberry syrup
- ¾ part fresh lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS: Combine ingredients in a shaker and shake with ice. Strain into a glass over ice, garnish with fresh raspberries.
SVEDKA Nuts & Bolts
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 parts SVEDKA Vodka
- ½ part Amaretto
- ¾ part fresh lemon juice
- ¼ part simple syrup
- 3 blackberries
INSTRUCTIONS: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake, and strain in a Martini glass rimmed with chopped nuts. Garnish with a skewered blackberry.
*To rim glass, dip rim in corn syrup before coating with chopped nuts.
ONEHOPE’s Hocus Pocus Punch
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 cups apple cider
- 750 ml ONEHOPE Cabernet Sauvignon
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 orange zested and juiced
- 10 cinnamon sticks
- 4 cloves
- 3 star anise
- 2 oranges peeled for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS: Combine cider, wine, honey, orange juice, zest, 2 cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise in a large sauce pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour into mugs and garnish with orange peels and cinnamon sticks.
