Tonight we celebrate the 88th Annual Academy Awards one of the most controversial in years. Thankfully all the boycotting and blatant racism has no place on the red carpet. As expected the stars were out in their absolute best and like their films some were great and others not so much. Take a look at our Oscar fashion winners and nice people who should try again next year.
Best Dressed:
Whoopi stepped out of her comfort zone and channeled her inner Ophrah for an amazing Oscar night look. Fresh faced and ageless this is the most elegant and youthful we’ve seen her in years.
Mindy Kaling is a vision in a gorgeous form-fitting gown with blue cape detail.
Chrissy and her baby bump have been gorgeous all season long. We adore this heavily embellished nude dressed
Singer John takes a cue from his gorgeous wife and looks sharp in his chic well-tailored tux.
Liz shows off her sexy physique in a semi-sheer floor length gown.
Stop the presses he’s actually smiling! The weekend is clearly as excited about his suit as we are.
Priyanka is white hot in this belted white gown.
Worst Dressed
It’s not a bad dress its just not an Oscars dress. We expect perfection from Mrs. Washington and this ensemble falls flat.
If you’re going to show up in a sparkling gold jacket for heaven’s sake get your pants tailored
A gorgeous dress but such plain jane hair. A stunning updo would have given this dress more life and presented Zuri as the gorgeous starlet she is.
Her hair and makeup are flawless but this drab pale yellow dress takes away from the overall look. A bold color or jewel tone would have made this look pop.
Remember when Pharell wore that big hat? We miss that hat, a lot. That hat made more sense than these cuffed pants and blond hair. Will the real Pharell please stand up and pull these pants legs back down.
Though only a select few will go home with awards anyone with an invite is a winner in our book. Congratulations to everyone attending the big show! Take a peak at or gallery for a few more red carpet looks.
