Jeffery Fashion Cares tenth annual fashion fundraiser benefiting the LGBT community and people living with HIV/AIDS took over the Intrepid for a gala like no other. The star studded evening was a chance for people who are passionate about the community to give back. Actress Emmy Rossum served as the host and to lend her support.
The red carpet was filled with VIPs including Cyndi Lauper, Jerry Mitchell, Jeffrey Kalinsky, Cat Greenleaf, Chrissy Teigen, Sean Avery, Kelly Bensimon, Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, Steve Kolb, Thakoon Panichgul, Veronica Webb, Sofia Sanchez, Andrej Pejic, Esther de Jong, Eniko Mihalik, and many more.
During the reception, LGBT influencers, allies, and supporters took the time to bid on posh items during the auction while enjoying delicious food and cocktails.
Soon after, party goers took their seats the presentation and live auction where Tony Award winning choreographer Jerry Mitchell received the Community Leadership Award by Cyndi Lauper.
Soon after, the highly anticipated fashion show was underway where we got a glimpse of the latest trends in menswear. We manage to capture the finale walk:
The event raised $811,735 through ticket sales, donations and the live and silent auction. Over the past 21 years, Jeffrey Fashion Cares has raised nearly $11 million for the LGBT communities’ most important charities and non-profit organizations, with 95% of every dollar raised going directly into the coffers of the beneficiaries.
